Is There Two Contradicting Accounts
Of The Creation Of Mankind?
The creation of Adam and Eve is told in Genesis 1, verse 26, but then is repeated in Genesis 2, verses 7 and 8. This has made for a lot of excitement and some differing doctrines, some believing some of mankind to be 'preAdamic'! But the simple truth of the matter is, the second account is an insert, much like the boxed inserts we often see in magazines or history books. Such inserts add important additional information to a topic. Acts 17:26 says, "From one person God made all nations who live on earth, and he decided when and where every nation would be."
