JOHN 15:1-12 I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever lives in me, and I in her/him bears much (abundant) fruit. But apart from me, cut off from vital union with me, you can do nothing, but are like a branch, separated, that withers.[Amplified Bible]
If you live in me - abide vitally united to me - and my words remain in you, and continue to live in your heart, ask whatever you will and it will be done for you. When you bear and produce much fruit, my Father is honored and glorified; and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of mine. I have loved you.... as the Father has loved me... abide in his love, continue in his love with Me. If you keep my commandments - continue to obey my instructions - you will abide in my love and live on in it; just as I have obeyed my Father's instructions and live on in his love. I have told you these things, so that my joy and my delight may be in you also.... and that your joy and gladness will be full measure.... and complete.... and overflowing. This is my commandment, that you love one another....
